Job Profile
The focus of the Freight Sales Executive is to acquire new Freight Forwarding business opportunities while retaining and developing the assigned customer base. Adopting a results-driven mindset, the capacity to engage with key decision-makers of customers and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced business environment are the key qualities the right candidates must demonstrate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors.
  • Designing and developing bespoke freight solutions in collaboration with the Pricing and Operations teams.
  • Achieve the targets set in terms of Profitability, New account penetration, and sales activity.
  • Maintain records of customer details and sales visits. Identify potential customers and exploit market opportunities.
  • Providing responsive customer service and resolving client issues in a timely manner.
  • Support the Account Receivables team in the timely collection of outstanding Payments.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding Sales
  • Post Graduate Qualification in Logistics or Business Management
  • Oral and written proficiency in the English language. Good presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective Interpersonal skills and natural ability to build relationships.
  • Computer proficiency.
