Notes:

• Handling Fee will be subject to VAT
• Applicable for shipments upto 30 Kgs
• Effective Date – 12th January 2020
• Statutory Charges such as Customs Duty & VAT will be applicable based on commodity and declared value

Handling Charges Over 30 Kgs – Imports

• Handling Fee will be subject to VAT
• A Handling Fee RO 15/- per shipment will be levied for shipments over 30 Kgs.
• Effective Date – 20th January 2021
• Statutory Charges such as Customs Duty and VAT will be applicable based on commodity and declared value

Additional Charges:

Storage Charges – OMR 5 per day will be levied for shipments which cannot be cleared at Customs due to inaccurate / missing paperwork or approvals. The Storage charge will be applied after 3 working days from issuing the Cargo arrival notice to the consignee. For Export shipments, storage charges will apply for shipments which cannot be exported after 3 working days from hand over to UPS Oman, due to inaccurate / missing paperwork.

Multi line Entry – OMR 0.500 Per line will be applicable for Bill of Entries with more than five lines / HS Codes – applicable for shipments which contain multiple commodities and require formal clearance.

Release to Broker / Self Clearance – OMR 15 per shipment will be applied for shipments where Customs documentation is transferred to the consignee’s nominated broker.
